1. Operator<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2. Scope and Definitions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These Terms govern use of the Aleo<\/strong> marketplace where Providers<\/strong> list services and Customers<\/strong> can discover Providers and initiate bookings\/requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Customer:<\/strong>\u00a0any natural person using the Platform to find and communicate with Providers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provider:<\/strong>\u00a0any person\/business listing services and uploading content (Listings).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Platform:<\/strong>\u00a0the Aleo website and its features.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Listing:<\/strong>\u00a0Provider content such as descriptions, prices, and images.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    3. Aleo\u2019s Role (Intermediary Platform)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Aleo is not the provider<\/strong> of the services listed on the Platform. Any contract for a service is concluded solely between Customer and Provider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aleo provides technical features such as: listings and profiles, booking\/appointment management (e.g., via LatePoint), chat, reviews, reporting tools, and map\/location features (e.g., Google Maps).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aleo does not process customer payments<\/strong> for Provider services. Customers pay directly to Providers<\/strong> (e.g., cash on site). Whether a Provider accepts card payments on site is the Provider\u2019s responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. Accounts and Access<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Some features require an account (email + password). Users must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. Users are responsible for activity under their account if they are at fault for misuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Minimum age:<\/strong> The Platform is generally intended for users 18+<\/strong>. Minors may use it only with parental\/guardian consent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aleo may suspend or terminate accounts in case of misuse, legal violations, or material breaches of these Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    5. Listings, Reviews, and Communication<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Providers are solely responsible for their Listings (accuracy, completeness, pricing, availability, qualifications, and image\/content rights).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Customers may message Providers and leave reviews. Reviews must be truthful, factual, and non-abusive. Fake\/manipulated reviews are prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Users may report content. Aleo may review reports and temporarily hide or remove content at its discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Prohibited Content and Conduct<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    In particular, it is prohibited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • upload illegal content, commit fraud, or mislead others,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • harass, threaten, post hate speech or discriminatory content,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • infringe copyrights, trademarks, or personal rights,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • upload content without necessary rights\/licenses,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • attack the Platform (hacking, malware), bypass security measures,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • scrape\/automate data extraction without permission,<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • spam or misuse the chat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Aleo may remove content, suspend accounts, and inform authorities where legally permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      7. Bookings, Cancellations, Disputes<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Bookings are technically supported by the Platform but are substantively handled between Customer and Provider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Cancellations, rescheduling, no-show rules, refunds, and service details are set by the Provider and must be agreed with the Customer. Aleo is not responsible for these matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Customers and Providers should first try to resolve disputes directly. Aleo may offer limited technical help (e.g., message forwarding) but has no duty to mediate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Provider Subscriptions, Pricing, Billing (Providers)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Providers may purchase monthly subscriptions<\/strong> to access certain Platform features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Prices are displayed net and gross<\/strong> (plus VAT where applicable). The price shown at checkout applies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Payment is available via credit card<\/strong> or Klarna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Term, renewal, cancellation:<\/strong> Subscriptions run for the selected billing period (monthly) and renew automatically for another month unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period<\/strong>. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Refunds:<\/strong> Fees paid are generally non-refundable on a pro-rata basis<\/strong>, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Price changes:<\/strong> Aleo may adjust subscription prices with prior notice. Providers may cancel effective the date the change takes effect in case of material changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Withdrawal right:<\/strong> Where Providers act as businesses, there is typically no statutory withdrawal right<\/strong>. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Availability and Support<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Aleo aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. Maintenance and technical issues may temporarily restrict access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      10. Intellectual Property and Licenses<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      All rights in the Platform (software, design, logos, operator content) belong to Aleo or licensors. Users receive a limited, revocable license to use the Platform as intended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Provider content:<\/strong> Providers retain rights to their uploaded content but grant Aleo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and technically reproduce the content as necessary to operate and present Listings while the content remains on the Platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Users must not copy, distribute, or exploit other users\u2019 content outside the Platform without permission, unless legally allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      11. Liability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Aleo is fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body, or health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For slight negligence of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Aleo is not liable for Provider services, Listing accuracy, actions of Customers\/Providers, disputes between them, or payments made directly to Providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Third-party services (e.g., Google Maps, hosting, LatePoint) are governed by their own terms; Aleo is not liable for third-party content\/services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      12. Indemnification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Customers and Providers shall indemnify Aleo against third-party claims arising from unlawful use or content they provide (e.g., IP infringement, false information), including reasonable defense costs, where permitted by law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      13. Data Protection and Cookies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy<\/strong>. A cookie\/consent banner is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      14. Changes to These Terms<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Aleo may update these Terms for legal, technical, or business reasons and will inform users appropriately. Mandatory rights remain unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      15. Final Provisions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection rules of the user\u2019s habitual residence remain unaffected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      For disputes with merchants\/businesses, the place of jurisdiction is Selm, Germany, where permissible. For consumers, statutory venues apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
